Goddess Labyrinth

DATE: 8-14 March (weather permitting)

PLACE: University of York, Heslington Campus on the grass between Derwent and Langwith Colleges.


Labyrinths have existed for thousands of years and appear in many different cultures.

They can be used as a walking meditation space, or just for fun. To celebrate International Women's Day 2009, a goddess labyrinth will be laid out on the open ground on the University of York's Heslington Campus. All welcome.

Clothes Swap
Organised by the University of York Women's Committee

DATE & TIME: Thursday 5th March, 10.00am - 3.00pm

PLACE: University of York, Old Goodricke Dining Room


Bring along your old clothes, jewellery, accessories (shoes, bags!!) etc and swap them with other people to create a new wardrobe for free!!-Remember one persons junk is another persons treasure!

DJs brought to you by IndieSoc all day.

Changing room available. £1 Entry Fee. All proceeds/extra clothes will go to Oxfam.
So start digging out your old clobber for York's fashion event of the year!!
